This is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to take on a new challenge, based in Chertsey. In return for your commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary of £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.

We are an up and coming hospitality brand based in Chertsey who are taking the UK by storm with our exciting brand. We are currently developing our finance team, and this is where you come in as our Financial Controller!

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

- Take a pro-active role in evaluating and leveraging IT systems to maximise efficiency & productivity and suggesting improvements as needed

- Building, managing and development of the finance team in conjunction with the Group Financial Director

- The preparation of timely and reliable monthly management accounts with an emphasis on providing meaningful analysis to assist management in decision making

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Business support and financial analysis of new products and opportunities

- Preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with the Group Financial Director on taxation matters

- Drive a range of process and reporting improvements across finance

- Cashflow management & forecasting

- Provide ad-hoc analysis on key business metrics and risk management

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Manage the completion and submission of Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT returns

- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls

Our ideal Financial Controller will have:

- Qualified ACA or ACCA

- A determination to learn, progress and succeed

- Highly competent user of MS Excel

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work to strict deadlines

- Strong analytical skills
