Operations Financial Controller

My client, a market leading, global manufacturing business is seeking an Operations Financial Controller on a long term interim basis to support senior managers across multiple sites and drive a number of key projects. This is a newly created role within their structure, the overall responsibility is to provide financial expertise, challenge, and support to the operation managers.

Reporting to the Finance Director and Operations Director, responsibilities will include but are not limited to, conducting a review of the manufacturing cost base and lead a process to drive profit improvement programs, challenge of all Site Leadership teams, presentation of cost drivers and tracking of financial delivery, providing financial support and guidance to the operations teams as well as the development of capital investment business cases. You will also work closely with the site teams to understand and deliver challenging site performance reviews.

The successful candidate will be highly driven, commercially and operationally aware with demonstrable experience of Finance Business Partnering within a fast -paced FMCG/manufacturing organisation.
