Finance Assistant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are recruiting an experienced Finance Assistant for a dynamic business based in Chesterfield.

THE JOB:

The main purpose of the role is to add support to a small, established finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include:

Processing supplier invoices onto a Bespoke system
Dealing with queries
Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to resolve issues
Ensuring invoices are authorised for payment
Updating and maintaining supplier accounts
Credit control using written and verbal communication
Other ad hoc duties including cashbook, posting journals, reconciliations etc

THE PERSON:

Previous experience is essential
The successful candidate will be studying towards AAT
Knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables, V Look ups etc is essential
Good time management is essential
You must have excellent attention to detail
