Michael Page Treasury are recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join a multi-national Treasury function within the media and marketing space.

The Treasury Analyst will provide support for the function and will be responsible for the daily cash processes. As this role develops there will be opportunities to get involved in other treasury activities including projects. An exciting opportunity to develop in a fast-paced growing business and effect real change.

Our client is a large multi-national corproate within the marketing and media space. They are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join their team in Central London!

Description

The key responsibilities of the Treasury Analyst will include:

  • Process treasury settlements, netting and cross-border payments utilizing OFP's TMS, banking systems and eCash (in-house electronic banking system)
  • Act as administrator for TMS, eCash systems and SunGard ICMS
  • Support cash management procedures for reconciliations and period end close
  • Provide implementation support for Cash Management projects as required
  • Respond to requests for information from agencies and undertake settlement investigations
  • Undertake investigations relating to 'problem' settlements
  • Confirmation of Internal/External trading activity
  • Verification of Trades in TMS
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required

Profile

To be considered for the Treasury Analyst position you should have:

  • Educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 in a numerical subject
  • Desire to study towards a professional qualification (preferably AMCT or ACCA/CIMA)
  • Knowledge of Excel, operating financial systems and banking systems
  • Dynamic, proactive and with an ability to deliver confidently and quickly
  • Drive and ambition crucial. Willingness to learn new things and a can-do attitude.
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with strong personal standards and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of output.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player
