They’re now looking for a Finance Officer to join their team in Clerkenwell and play a vital role in credit control activities.

Your Role
As a Finance Officer, you will be tasked with overseeing income and recording functions and processes.
Specifically, you will be involved inraising invoices, accurate and timely information processing and making information available to users.
Our client’s Finance Department supports the entire organisation including all 140 services across England, Wales and The Isle of Man. As such, you’ll take on a busy, varied role addressing all issues and processing payments to meet the needs of staff and external agencies.
Your role will also involve:
- Preparing invoices for the funders of services
- Checking payments are received
- Chasing unpaid invoices
- Maintaining the cash flow forecast
- Processing other transactions for services
- Dealing with suppliers including records, queries and reconciliations
- Preparing BACS schedules and cheques for signature
- Posting accurately to the nominal ledger
About You
To be considered as a Finance Officer, you will need:
- Previous accounts or finance experience
- Experience of working with accounts software
- To be part qualified with a recognised accounting body, such as ACCA or ACA, be NVQ Level 4 qualified in accounting or finance, OR possess a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as accounting or finance
The closing date for applications is the 3st May 2019. This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week.
