Role: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Hertfordshire

 

Do you have experience working within Financial Planning and Analysis? Are you ACCA or CIMA qualified? Have you worked in a Commercial or Trade based company?

Our client, a well-established trade company, is looking for a confident and experience Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their Finance team in their head office. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities including the involvement in financial decisions and being responsible for the Management Accountant.

Main Responsibilities of the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Ensuring forecasts are in line with required targets and reporting possible risks
  • Analysing revenue flows, reporting variances and supporting top line revenue growth
  • Contributing to the weekly trading review with an assessment of revenue and gross profit
  • Managing the forecasting and budgeting process
  • Analysing the financial and non-financial KPIS and producing detailed report
  • Liaising and providing support on decisions made within the company
  • Assessing sales, gross and net margin performance
  • Investigating performance issues highlighted by self or senior management.
  • Working alongside members of the business to ensure reporting and analysis is consistent
  • Overseeing the financial awareness of non-finance staff
  • Analysing and identifying areas of improvement in the processes and procedures carried out
  • Managing and providing support to the Management Accountant

Ideal candidate for the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager role:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Previous experience working within Financial planning and analysis
  • Finance Business Partner attitude
  • Strong MS Excel including modelling skills
  • Experience in Data warehouse reporting
  • Confident speaking to colleagues at all levels
  • Leadership skills
  • Analytical and numerical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
