Opportunity to join a fantastic digital innovator, part of a global group, to support the management accounts function for an initial period of 6 months in some of the coolest offices in Manchester.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be working in a small, effective and friendly management accounting team, working together to produce the monthly management accounts. This will also extend into production of project related monthly cost analysis as well as working across the business to present and explain the monthly number to non-finance staff and management. Your duties will be varied and will include:-
Initially for a 6 month period, but with the possibility of a longer term role for the right candidate, this is a great role in a superb business in a sector that is growing in profile and importance in the North West. The successful candidate could be qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience with experience across the full management accounts process and equally happy to roll up their sleeves and help the processing team when needed. Good systems skills are essential including strong excel and Sage 200 would be a benefit.

- Preparation and production of the monthly management accounts (by revenue stream/department)
- Variance analysis of monthly management and project accounts
- Account preparation including accruals, prepayments and journals
- Assisting the FC in preparation, management and reporting of 13 week rolling cashflow forecast
- Bank account / cashbook maintenance (including daily bank recs) to aid cashflow forecasting
- Various ad-hoc duties from processing to analysis and reporting
