Fund Accountant - Oversight

My client is a global investment management group with an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified accountant with fund audit exposure to join their London team.

You will be responsible for:
- Providing accounting advice and oversight services for the entire fund range including UCITs and institutional funds across many jurisdictions (UK/LUX GAAP and IFRS)
- Oversight of the year end audit and liaison with external auditors
- Review of financial statements and other regular financial information
- Provision of additional financial support in relation to fund launches and complex transactions
- Oversight of controls and procedures at Fund Administrators to ensure accurate financial information is provided
- Preparation and presentation of memos to fund Boards confirming the review of financial statements, providing analysis and discussing any issues
- Review of quarterly management accounts and the preparation/presentation to the Boards on the results, including distribution recommendations and cash flow forecasts
- Monitor change in regulations and accounting standards and impact on financial statements

To be considered for this role you must:
- Be an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant (ideally Big 4) with investment management fund audit exposure and strong knowledge of IFRS and UK/LUX GAAP
- Have strong communication and relationship management skills
- Be flexible and take a proactive approach to problem solving and working well with the larger team
