Head of Finance – Media

Partner Financial are working with an entrepreneurial, high growth International Media Agency, based in Central London. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, as Head of Finance you will be working within a fast-paced environment, providing valuable financial insights that will assist in the strategic development whilst supervising a small team.

As Head of Finance, you will a key member of the senior management team, assisting the CEO, COO and Board with the group strategy and expansion, including evaluation of new commercial opportunities. You will be responsible for the day to day finance operations and will be the primary point of contact for all financial matters. This position would suit a naturally talented individual who has the drive, ambition and potential to advance in a rapidly growing business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the month end reporting and managing the review process, delivering what is necessary for the continued growth and change of the company
• Managing the year end statutory accounts for the international entities and audit, including liaising with the auditors
• Assisting with any investment processes and due diligence that may arise
• Providing financial support for new business cases and projects
• Understanding and tracking the performance against the annual budget and reforecasting process
• Managing the corporation tax and VAT compliance
• Managing credit control, expenses and ensuring effective cash management
• Managing the payroll via an external provider
• Supporting the implementation and optimisation of a new finance system
• Managing the relationship with the external accountancy firm
• Managing and developing the finance team

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced excel; ability to build and maintain financial models
• Commercial mindset with a flexible and pragmatic approach
• Experience managing and developing a team
