Investment Governance Analyst - Edinburgh

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investment Governance Analyst to join our financial services client in Edinburgh on a permanent basis.
The key purpose of this role will be to analyse fund performance and risks; supporting decisions around asset allocation changes, manager changers and project activity.
Responsibilities:
- Analysing UK insured funds, carrying out technical assessment of UK funds
- Assessing funds - Performance, Investment Risk & Net Costs
- Supporting Senior Analyst / Management with recommendations
- Producing analysis for project activity - deep dive review of funds; investment market activity
- Producing monthly performance packs and commentary used to monitor performance of key strategic funds
- Providing input and supporting decisions
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar Investment landscape with experience including asset allocation, investment processes, investment styles, fund managers, funds, solutions and possess sound regulatory understanding in respect of investments - e. Investment Rules / TCF.
- Excellent Communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity
- Hands on capability in data management and analysis using Excel and other tools with use of its various functions for investment analysis.
- Ability to use knowledge and experience to draw conclusions from data and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail
