Our client, based in the heart of Exeter are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.
This positions main responsibilities would be to prepare, develop, analyse and manage the company accounting requirements and financial information.
Duties:
- Production of full month-end management accounts, including preparing and posting journals.
- Providing detailed management accounts analysis (including costs versus budget).
- Preparing weekly management information and KPI reporting and cash flow forecasts.
- Completing and reconciling all balance sheet control accounts and identifying and investigating differences.
- Inter-company reconciliations.
- Preparation and calculation of year-end accounts.
- Administration of the company payroll.
- Administration of the Auto-Enrolment pension scheme.
- Purchase and Sales General Ledger.
- Bookkeeping duties, including VAT and Tax payments/returns.
Candidate:
- CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualified accountant
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
- Excellent knowledge or risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
