Global Director - Business Services Group

The Global Director will be responsible for the end-to-end managed service delivery for the Business Services Group. This is a strategic and truly value adding role.

Description

Driving activity through an outsourced service provider, the BSG provides the following service lines:

• End-to-end process management
• Transactional processing
• Specialist services to support decision making

Key accountabilities will include:

• Manage the BSG strategy
• Manage the financial performance, including annual expenditure, service cost and recharge amounts, contract performance of the outsourced providers and other suppliers to the business
• Lead, engage and motivate the team
• Ensure operational delivery from outsourced providers
• Build, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Steer the team on best practice around Master Data Management, Procurement, Finance Shared Service Delivery, Programme and Project Delivery, Performance Measurement amoungst others

Profile

The successfule candidate will likely have a relevant degree and will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).

They must have:

• In-depth, international knowledge of running a similar function in a market-leading organisation
• A strong understanding of critical success factors for a Business Services Group
• Excellent leadership qualities
• Previous exposure to leading deployment programmes on a global scale
