Commercial Finance Analyst

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our market leading client.

Working with Finance Business partners and the wider commercial team, you will assist the delivery of the commercial strategy. Identifying through analysis and reporting the opportunity to drive improved profitability.


Role requirements:

As Commercial Finance Analyst you will have influence on designing and implementing improved reporting and analysis across all areas. You will prepare daily/weekly forecasts and budgets to be reviewed by business partners.

You will need to review and understand the current reporting methods, establishing new improved methods, recognising opportunities to automate.

Through analysis and robust commercial forecasts your will empower the teams to achieve great efficiencies, improving profitability.


About You:

As this position will require the successful candidate to engage with multiple teams and individuals, it is important that you possess the ability to present information in a concise and clear manner, with the ability to adapt the information to the audience.

You will be a Part Qualified Accountant who is eager to progress with their qualification. In addition to this, it is important that you are able to demonstrate proven reporting and analytical skills.

Due to the environment you will be working in, it is vital that you are able to operate in a fast-paced environment where requirements can quickly change. A proactive, inquisitive nature will be extremely advantageous within this role.

In addition to the above, strong IT skills will be required, with any SQL, OBIA or Power BI skills being advantageous.
