One of the world's most respected, independent creative companies with offices in London, the US and Asia are looking to bolster their Senior Finance team. The Head of FP&A will report into the Group Finance Director and work alongside the Head of Finance. The role will be based at their Group HQ in the London office and will involve operational, finance and commercial elements within the London agency as well as involvement with group companies from the international offices and start-up companies created within the agency.

The role:

  • Drive an overhaul of the finance System with the aim of being fully implemented in early 2020.
  • Tighten and refine the group reporting and KPI process alongside the Head of Finance.
  • Assist and identify with other operational projects as and when required.
  • Alongside Head of Finance, providing analytical assistance and involved in the preparation and presentation of the monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Managing company cashflow.
  • Ensuring appropriate financial controls and procedures are in place.
  • Understand the commercial models within the Agency and work alongside the Account management team to assist where required.
  • Analytical work for management and the business.

The person:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Tech/analytically driven
  • System implementation experience desirable
  • Developing financial and operational strategy
  • People-oriented problem solving styles of approach
  • Media background (preferably Advertising)
  • Advanced Excel user, and advanced user of multiple ERP systems
  • Client facing experience in fee/contract negotiation is desirable
  • Monthly management reporting including financial forecasts
