Senior Banking & Treasury Analyst - 9 month FTC

MacKenzie King are delighted to be working with an employer of choice in Witham in the recruitment of a Treasury & Banking Analyst of a fixed term contract until March 2020.

This Fixed Term Contract role is within the Treasury & Accounting Operations team, reporting directly into the Senior Manager, Cash Control to provide project support in relation to banking.

The contract will run until end March 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of all projects that impact Cash Control processes

• Lead / attend as Finance’s sole representative on strategic payable/receivable projects

• Initiate and implement recommendations, ensuring that new processes are efficient and comply with Group policy

• Successful Execution of any system or process changes within the Bank system administration and cash control teams

• Provide specialist advice on all aspects of receipt and payment processing

• Project Support - Senior member of the Finance team liaising with senior management within UK/EMEA, Involved in Controls discussions and making recommendations on the same

• Liaise / negotiate with external parties(Banks/Vendors) - Representing Finance at senior levels

• Key enabler of System changes

Requirements:

• Accounting/Banking/Treasury qualification desirable

• 5 years + experience within finance to include a minimum of 1 year's Treasury experience within a large organisation with relevant banking experience

• Comprehensive understanding of UK Fiduciary Accounting systems and processes

• Knowledge of Banking systems

• Knowledge of SWIFT is highly desirable
