Howarth Morris are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well established business based in Wigan for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.

Reporting to the HR Manager, duties will include:

  • Processing payroll on a monthly and weekly basis
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Collating and processing sickness information
  • Processing SMP, SSP, SPP payments
  • P45 production and distribution
  • Pension Administration
  • Processing any changes to bank details or personal details
  • Checking all time-sheets & adjustments are correctly processed

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience of working within Payroll
  • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Have a strong understanding of payroll legislation
