Finance Director

Thriving in a competitive market sector our client has established an excellent reputation as a first-rate business services company. With turnover increasing by 30% over the last three years, partly through a small acquisition and mainly through organic growth the business is well-placed to embark on the next stage of their growth plans.

This role is central to helping the business achieve its ambitions and reporting to the CEO will be responsible for managing a finance team of two and a wider support team of six. Responsibilities include:

• Transactions – identifying and integrating
• Systems – development and maintenance
• Management Reporting – overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting – cashflow, revenue, overheads
• Business Partnering – analysis of current trading information, identifying areas for growth and support on new business tenders
• Property – maintenance of freehold and leasehold assets, managing negotiations with landlords and insurance, rates and facilities

Candidates will be qualified accountants – ACA, CIMA or ACCA, with

• Experience in a people/consulting business
• Transactions experience including integration
• Statutory/group accounts familiarity
• Broad operational experience – commercial, business partnering and cross-functional systems
