Axon Moore is working with a market-leading retail business with operations across the UK. Following private equity backing, our client has grown significantly both organically and through acquisitions. In line with plans to continue growth and maintain their position as the UK’s largest retailer in the sector, we are looking for an ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join a very strong finance team.

 

With sales figures and share price on the rise, and an unmatched service offering in a lucrative market, it is a fantastic time to join the business. The role will include delivering insight and understanding of key trends driving performance and play an active role in strategic decision-making process and review. Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be a key finance contact in the commercial team with a real impact on bottom line performance in a dynamic and innovative team. This role is a great opportunity to gain or further experience in a fast-paced retail environment, driving post launch analysis and formulating action plans around trends to maximise performance of new and existing product lines.  

 

Previous experience in a commercial environment will be of great benefit in this varied and challenging role and you will need to be able to foster strong working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues across the organisation; strong communication skills are a must. Strong excel skills and a proactive attitude to work and flexibility in a fast-changing environment are also a must.
