Systems Accountant

An opportunity for a Systems Accountant has arisen at a growing Housing Association in London. This role is offered on a permanent, full time contract.

Role Description

The Systems Accountant will be responsible for the following areas:

• Day to day technical support of the Purchase Order Processing System to the business 
• Managing the database administration for Finance Management System; maintaining charts of accounts, product tables, document types, calendars and general housekeeping, as well as other tasks as required
• Providing solutions to issues in the accounts/systems and ensure the correct system configuration relates to offices and entity changes 
• Planning and investigating activities with a minimum disruption to the Finance Department and wider business
• Responsibility for providing solutions for budgeting, forecasting & BI which meet the requirements of the Business, subject to capabilities of the existing systems & provision of any necessary consultancy
• Leading on aspects of the systems project

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Accountant / Qualified by experience
• Exposure to working as part of a systems implementation team
• Experience of open accounts and Yardi Voyager (desirable though not essential)
• Experience working as part of a team and managing relationships between finance and operations
• A clear ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Job Offer

• £40,000 - £45,000
