Head of FP&A

One of the largest and well-known charities in the UK supporting the British armed forces is seeking a Head of FP&A for their London based team.

The charity has gone through a period of significant growth, with record breaking fundraising efforts in recent years. They are now looking to ‘future proof’ the organisation and maintain sustainability moving forward.

About the Role

The Head of FP&A will work closely with senior leadership to drive commercial decision making, contribute to key projects and suggest areas for continuous improvement within finance and the wider organisation.

Key Duties will include:

• Managing a large Financial Planning and Analysis team
• Working closely with director level budget holders on a regular basis
• Seeking to drive improvement to reporting and analysis that goes out to budget holders
• Contributing heavily to key projects across the organisation

Candidate Profile

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong FP&A experience
• Demonstrable finance business partnering skills
• Able to communicate effectively with non-finance
• Thorough understanding of budgeting, forecasting and detailed analysis
• Experience / understanding of large-scale fundraising for a charity or not-for-profit organisation – beneficial

Job Offer

• Salary up to £63,000
• Permanent, full time contract
