Group Financial Controller – London
Based in The City, the client is a rapidly growing managed IT services provider that is embarking on a growth phase of acquisitions which has created the need for an experienced Group Financial Controller with exposure to an IT or Telecommunications business.
Managing a small team and being based primarily in London with some occasional travel to other locations around the UK, the client is looking for a qualified accountant with commercial responsibility who not been solely in a large organisational structure just concentrating on the reporting function. Up to date technically both with GAAP and IFRS you will work closely with auditors and external investors as well as Directors. In this hands-on environment, you will be comfortable managing cash flow and dealing with suppliers and other creditors.
Other key responsibilities will include:
With strong technical accounting knowledge, you will have some experience of consolidated group accounts preparation as well as people management skills. Working knowledge of Sage 200 would an advantage as well as time management skills and the ability to manage and meet tight deadlines.

Other key responsibilities will include:
- Developing monthly management accounts and MI to suit the needs of the business including financial modelling, project appraisals and scenario planning
- Ensure robust cash flow management and forecasting.
- Ad hoc analysis and modelling as and when required by senior management
- Develop and maintain relationships with other department heads to ensure the Finance team has full visibility of ongoing activities.
