A leading luxury retailer requires a Finance Director to provide financial leadership to the business, as well as to act as commercial partner to the Executive team.
Duties & Responsibilities tin include:
- Work with the CFO and MD on the development of the companies mid and long term strategy.
- Provide regular analysis and information on trading performance, as well as a number of other key performance indicators.
- Overseeing financial reporting for all global entities.
- Ensure that a robust financial control environment exists within the business.
- Oversight of all aspects of the finance function, including Financial and Technical Accounting, FP&A, Audit & Risk, Tax, etc.
- Development of the businesses investment strategy.
- Advising on and supporting new store openings, joint ventures, and other key projects.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant.
- An experienced Finance Director/senior finance professional.
- Prior experience of working in a retail or consumer focused business.
- Proven commercial mind set.
- Excellent business partnering skills.
- Natural gravitas, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
