Business Finance Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting a Finance Business Analyst for a great business in Wakefield. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well known brand, work for a Finance Business Partner with a clear career trajectory and great commercial exposure.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Business Analyst role will be responsible for optimising revenue by way of commercial analysis, business support and the pricing decision support. The role holder will support their manager in identifying commercial opportunities, mitigating trading threats and updating immediate commercial plans in light of current trading performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the Sales team they will inform the response to bids and tenders, be they large multi home arrangements or individual spot placements via DPS or otherwise.
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly management reports
Investigation of trends, analytical review and interpretation of data
Support the production of annual business plans / reforecasts & longer term business planning
Ensure through detailed audit and review that fees received are in line with current agreements
Have an appreciation for costing individual needs reflective of dependency
In addition will price opportunities across business service types

Skills / Experience:

Part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA - or a relevant degree
Advanced Excel
To operate at this level the role holder must have strong analytical skills
Be commercially minded, have a sense of challenge and curiosity as well as an appreciation for detail and accuracy
Ability to work under time and business pressure
Ability to work in matrix management structure
