Following the recent appointments of a new CIO and a newly created role of Digital Transformation Director the Group IT function is embarking on a period of transformation. The IT operating model is being substantially revamped and the Business Partner will support delivery of this change through the provision of a Group wide business partnering service, including project management support, procurement advice, development of business cases, pricing methodologies and financial analysis.
You will ensure that the IT leadership team is supplied with financial information to enable it to understand fully its historic and current performance, its prospects and cash flow as well as development of total cost of ownership and return on investment analysis for internal and external applications, solutions and services, in support of decision making and planning. Working with Group Finance you will compile the global budget for IT and digital transformation and prepare forecasts. You will provide financial planning support for the annual 3 year strategy process and capital investment planning.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record of successful business partnering preferably in an international IT environment and experience of large-scale IT process and systems change. You will have developed and implemented financial reporting structures and have good technical knowledge including UK GAAP and IFRS. Commercial awareness is a must combined with excellent communications skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
