Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst | £60,000 - £70,000 | Buckinghamshire | FMCG / Retail 

This is a unique opportunity within an International PE-backed business. This newly created Financial Analyst role will support the FP&A director and local MDs to support their business. The key responsibilities will be to understand the underlying causes of low profitability and instigate action to resolve/improve. Analyse market trends including both macroeconomic factors affecting the industry and local competition levels. Build an understanding of the normal demand patterns and of exceptional events, adapting strategy to these to maximise profit. Build new financial models where needed for profit and loss analysis. Build and develop improved KPI reporting package including P&L, BS and CF.

Help prepare business presentations to management. Support the International Director of FP&A with ad hoc requests. The successful candidate should be a Qualified accountant within a multi-site business, have a strong element of statistical modelling experience.

Strong financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting experience. Knowledge of basic large-company business processes. Demonstrable experience of complex problem solving in an analytical role. Excellent ability with Excel. Immediate Interviews
