About the role:
Wolseley UK are currently recruiting a Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team in Ripon, North Yorkshire as a Finance Manager. You will be responsible for managing a specialist team within Financial Accounting & Control in Wolseley UK and supporting the Group Reporting function. You will be managing a team of 3 Accounts Assistants, who are responsible for all overhead accounting, over seeing month end processes alongside supporting the Senior Finance Manager to take ownership of the Group accounting, budgeting, IFRS reporting.
You will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring accurate and timely preparation, review and submission of all information required from direct reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Key participant in budgeting, forecasting and IFRS reporting framework to the Group team for FTSE reporting purposes
- Reporting of complex technical data in a format that can be understood by business stakeholders
- To identify process improvements across the Department liaising with the other teams
What we are looking for:
- Fully Qualified Finance professional; ACCA or CIMA
- Experience of operating financial controls within a complex business environment
- Experience of consolidating large accounts
