An exciting role has come up in our Business Partnering team within Business Finance performing a wide variety of tasks. As part of this role you can expect to take on responsibility straight away, which will give you exposure across the business with a definitive ability to effect key decisions. You'll be offered the opportunity to drive results, and work alongside the business by producing insight through planning and forecasting. Key to this role though is that you'll be given the ability to interact with the large parts of the business rather than a siloed area. One day you can be working with the HR Director, and others you'll be advising our project teams.
What will you be doing?
- Ownership of discrete P&L Opex lines. To include forecast process: challenge and analysis, understanding movements, validation and submission of forecast
- Provide financial data and interpretation for cost efficiency activities, link to your areas, internal Opex reporting, regular meetings with relevant departmental directors / senior managers to understand variances, forecast future costs and challenge overhead expenditure
- Analyse variances in overheads vs. last year/rolling forecast and support the Head of FP&A in the analysis of overhead costs at functional and line level to enable business insight / challenge
- Ad hoc projects that will need require detailed work around efficiencies in a certain area, or a specific long term forecasting scenario.

What have you done?
- You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA or similar), with an acutely high level of attention to detail
- The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across marketing, HR and other head office functions. You'll appreciate not only analysing data but also drawing wider conclusions upon the bigger picture and how that can effect commercial decision making.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), to influence
