Management Accountant - ACCA/CIMA Studier

Ignata Finance are exclusively working with a services business located in Worthing for the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is an exciting role where you will be given an opportunity to support the Finance Manager with the production of the management accounts. There will be ACCA or CIMA study support for those wishing to qualify.

Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:

• Experience of assisting with the production of the management accounts – Balance sheet, accruals, prepayments and journal entry (ESESENTIAL)
• Confident using Excel (Pivots/VLookups)
• Has completed analysis work and able to demonstrate using examples
• Actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA (or a relevant degree where you hold exam exemptions)

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the production of the cash reports and associated analysis. Ensure reports are provided in  timely manner, highlighting any adverse cash movements.
• Act as a key business partner to HR, Marketing and IT – this will involve providing ad hoc reports when required
• Responsible for the preparation of the management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for preparing various reports and providing detailed commentary with recommendations for next steps
• Responsible for calculating both Tax and VAT
• Administer inter-company reconciliations
• Authorise bank transactions
• Assist with year-end duties
• Accruals, prepayments and journal entry
• KPI analysis
• Liaise with auditors acting as a ‘go to’ for information required
