Effectively lead, manage and develop the Finance Team to ensure the provision of a quality finance service across the organisation, and the delivery of organisational objectives derived from the Business Strategy, Financial Plan. Budgets and Operational Plan.

I am partnering with a forward thinking housing organisation who have strong values and a great learning culture. They are currently recruiting for 2 key finance leaderships roles within their Senior Management Team.
Description
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Head of Finance will support the leadership and management of the finance function. You will be responsible for ensuring accounting policies, routines and internal control systems operative effectively.
- Provide Financial and Management Accounting advice to Board and Committees,
Executive Management Team, Managers and staff on all matters relating to the functions
within the organisation, and to develop reporting systems to ensure these meet the ongoing
needs of the business - Oversee the preparation of Final Accounts, co-ordinate the year end audit and liaise with
external auditors - Co-ordinate the preparation, monitoring and control of annual budgets including
forecasts for the future years for input to the 30 year business plan, and to provide effective
budgetary control information to Heads of Service, Executive Management Team and the
Board - To evaluate new business opportunities and housing developments, to appraise and
improve financial reporting of the housing maintenance function, and to contribute to the
association's growth strategy
Profile
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Excellent leadership skills
- Demonstrable track record in delivering financial information whilst always looking to improve and transform the way finance and the business works
