A well know hospitality business is looking for an interim FP&A Manager to join their expanding team. The role will be supporting the potential for higher overall performance: the role works alongside the Regional Director and their immediate team to maximise business performance.
You will be responsible for providing interpretation and insight for all aspects of regional performance, working closely with the Regional Director to set, achieve and exceed regional targets, whilst also supporting the central Finance team by providing accurate and timely financial reporting as required.
Responsibilities:
- Identify problems, needs and opportunities for improvement at all levels of the organisation
- Provide long and short term financial plans and interpreted analysis based on a good understanding of the business, the industry and the general economy.
- Build and maintain strong business partnering relationships with operations teams
- Leading the development of a collaborative partnership within the finance department to ensure accountability for accuracy and timeliness of data, and proactively support and drive improvements to reporting and data.
- Deliver innovative, high value-adding financial information and insight to the others for operational and strategic decision making
- To drive the budgeting and forecasting processes and be the key link between the FP&A team and the regional team in all regards
- Model financial returns on marketing activities and identify successful campaigns
- To forge great working relationships with the other partners to join dots and bring cross-functional business insight
- To coach and mentor others on making best use of available commercial and financial data.
Key Skills
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
- 3 Years+ post qualification experience
- Industry experience preferable but multi-site retail / hospitality a distinct advantage
- System knowledge preferred: Excel (Advanced), Cognos
