The Management Reporting Manager is responsible for the preparation and review of internal management reports for executive management and the Board.

This role is also focused on consideration of group accounting policies and resolution of judgemental issues for operational (to EBITDA) P&L, balance sheet and cash flow lines.

Key duties include;

  • Ownership and review of group monthly and quarterly management reporting deliverables for the business.
  • Lead discussions with the Hemisphere finance teams to ensure on time and insightful management reporting for use within the Hemispheres and at a Corporate level, including management of the monthly KPI process.
  • Management of the weekly AR update process and recoverability discussions with Hemispheres and the Shared Service Centre.
  • Ownership for Onshore Cost and G&A reporting, including projects to align and improve reporting thereof
  • Involvement in system projects to improve the reporting process, including a project to align of management and external reporting system structures where possible.
  • Lead the resolution of key accounting judgements and issues related to Operational income statement and balance sheet items.
  • Ensure controls and documentation are maintained effectively, as required by regulations (inc. SOX), the audit committee and external auditors.
  • Working with External Reporting team to support external filings and Planning team to understand and support the forecasting process.

Key Requirements;

  • Excellent academics and ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of accounting practices and procedures in a large multinational listed group.
  • Managerial experience of internal performance reporting in a similar commercial environment working with similar size listed multinational businesses.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills, professional and confident communicator (written, verbal and presentation skills), comfortable to work in an environment of change, good time management and ability to meet deadlines, effective at building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, and demonstration of ability to lead a team.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly advanced Excel skills, required and experience of Oracle and Hyperion preferable.
