Management Accountant

A Management Accountant is required to join a growing team based in Elstree. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified Management Accountant looking to develop a career with a well-established and market leading manufacturing business.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports highlighting the financial performance of the company
• Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting the annual and internal audits
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of budgets/projections
• Working closely with the shared services centre to ensure completion of all tasks with efficiency and accuracy
• Supporting the month end process in accordance with strict deadlines
• Supporting process changes in the Finance area to ensure the provision of timely and relevant information to key business owners
• Supporting cross functional and cross divisional process improvement initiatives

Candidate requirements

To be considered for this role you should be a part qualified ACCA or CIMA Management Accountant who demonstrates:

• Experience in a similar role
• Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills
• Flexible, shares knowledge with the team and other departments
• Good communication skills

Salary

The successful Management Accountant will be offered £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with a competitive benefits package.
