Marks Sattin are proud to be working alongside a large independent practice based in Skipton who are seeking an Accounting Director to join their team.

- To manage and lead the Accounting department to provide excellent client service and to deliver the budgeted internal financial performance.
- Support the Accounting team in delivering the required departmental incremental fee target via networking, meeting attendance, business pitches and input into marketing strategy.
- Ensure effective departmental workflow by overseeing the planning and prioritising of work.
- Make sure clients have adequate contact with yourself and the team.
- To be a role model for others in terms of the perceived attitude, language used and actions adopted.
- Seek to improve the commercial/market understanding of colleagues and team members.
- With help from others, lead the training and development of team members driving the department forward and identifying business opportunities.
Your Profile:
- ACA/ ACCA qualified
- Up to date and accurate technical advice.
- Required CPD completed.
- Anticipate the future technical legislation and the impact it will have on clients.
- Plan to ensure the firm is aware of future and current technical or legislative developments.
- Technical expertise in two or more specialist sectors/industries.
