Great role working within the commercial division of a globally renowned Television company. Managing a small team this position will have full responsibility for managing the finances of the Home Entertainment division. There will be a lot of interaction with the commercial team and requires someone who is commercially astute.
This is a great role for a qualified accountant who is 2-3 years PQE and is looking for the next step in their career.
The Role:
- Budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting for the UK Home Entertainment and archive sales
- Monthly preparation of the management and sales reporting packs for all divisions to include commentary against budget and forecast, investigating any discrepancies
- Business partner the commercial team for Home Entertainment to ensure optimisation of deals and revenue;
- Managing a small team to include training and development
- Prepare the Group Reporting Pack for Home Entertainment to include monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets;
- Ensure the royalty reports are up to date for licensees
- Work closely with the transactional teams to ensure revenue is costed, collected and allocated in a timely manner;
- Assist with process improvements and ad hoc projects.
The Person:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) with 2-3 years PQE
- Strong academics with an undergraduate degree
- Exceptional systems skills to include Advanced Excel;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with great relationship building skills;
- Strong people management skills;
- Commercially astute, highly motivated and organised;
- Experience gained within media or retail would be highly beneficial.
