Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Due to continued expansion, a high growth and consumer lead SME pharmaceutical business has created a brand-new Financial Planning and Analysis Manager role at their head office in Hemel Hempstead. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this FP&A role offers up to £65,000 per year plus benefits.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial finance, you will form an integral part of the head office FP&A function, gaining exposure to the Board of Directors and benefitting from a high-level view of the divisional and overall activities within the Group. Your key duties as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will include:

• Engaging with and understanding the operations and drivers within each Division
• Supporting future growth of the Group through short- and long-term financial planning and provision of decision supporting analysis to ensure future opportunities are maximised and risk is kept to a minimum
• Taking ownership periodic financial analysis and management reporting, playing a significant part in the budgeting and forecasting cycle
• Preparation of investment material
• Involvement with treasury to mitigate exposure and maximise capital
• Supporting future and current acquisitions through investment appraisal and analysis
• Consolidating and presenting divisional trading review packs ready for Board use
• Ad-hoc projects to include M&A work and ongoing process improvements

Candidate profile

To be considered for this FP&A Manager role you will:

• Be a CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant
• Prior exposure to working within a complex group FP&A environment with the associated expectations of quality financial reporting
• Experience taking ownership for your workload with minimal supervision

Salary

The successful Financial Planning and Analysis hire will be offered up to £65,000 per annum, plus competitive benefits and strong bonus potential.
