Plant Controller (Finance) for Blue-Chip Global Organisation, Based in Salford

Your new company
My Client is a Blue-Chip Global Manufacturing organisation. Having recently completed a number of significant acquisitions, they are seeking to improve their operational accounting function with the appointment of a Plant Controller.

Your new role
Reporting Directly into the organisations EMEA Finance Director, you will be tasked with driving operational efficiencies across multiple functions. You will partner with the Finance Director & General manager to identify and provide insight & analytics in to the wider running of the organisation. The role is finally balanced between a 'True Business Partnering' focus, influencing key member of the leadership & developing meaningful business intelligence which in turn will drive operational decision making.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proven track record of delivering operational change programmes within a finance function. Post acquisition, there is a lot of work to be done around standard costing systems and process improvements. You will need the ability to drive 'change'. Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
