Management Accountant

A high growth, private equity backed business within the online sector is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in Leeds. This role is offered on a permanent, full time contract.

The Role

The Management Accountant will be required to take on the following duties:

• Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts including commentary
• Assisting the Head of Management accounts and working closely with the other management accountants in the team
• Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly
• VAT Return
• Supporting year-end audit
• Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls
• Supporting the new financial system implementation
• Ad hoc projects and reporting

Candidate Requirements

The business is looking for an Accountant who can demonstrate:

• CIMA or ACCA qualification
• A proactive approach
• Advanced Excel skills
• Confidence and ability to work with senior managers
• Professionalism and positivity
• Excellent communication skills
• First rate customer service skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment

Salary and Benefits

The Management Accountant will receive the following:

• £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
• 25 days’ holiday (rising to 28 days after 5 years) - with the ability to buy more holiday
