Finance Director

Our exclusive client is a specialist engineering group with revenues now exceeding £50 million pa, operating on an international platform and a clear strategy in place that will see further growth both organically and through strategic acquisitions.

As part of the main board, our client is seeking a highly capable Finance Director that will lead all aspects of financial strategy whilst supporting commercial and operational functions of the business.

Reporting to the main board key responsibilities will include

• Management, development of a high calibre finance function
• Lead business planning, forecasting and budgeting activities
• Preparation and presentation of the monthly board pack
• Support in business strategy design and implementation
• Manage all aspects of external relationships
• Provide insight and support to operational management
• Deliver financial clarity and insight to all operating functions of the business
• Support in external bid and tender processes

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA with previous experience gained preferably with a contract accounting environment, demonstrate strong commercial and operational exposure and excellent leadership qualities.
