Financial Accountant

New Financial Accountant Role for Property Company Based North of Manchester City Centre

Our exclusive client are a property business based north of the city centre. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a financial accountant / finance manager to work alongside the Senior Finance team.

Your new role

• The production of all financial accounts:
• - Where external accountants are used for the filing of returns and the audit of accounts, full files and supporting working papers are produced to enable the external work to progress quickly and with the minimum of cost. To take the lead role in the resolution of any enquiries raised by our external accountants.
• - Where external accountants are not used the Financial Accountant is responsible for the filing of accounts and returns with Companies House and HMRC, again full supporting files are produced.
• The production of profit estimates for use in tax planning.
• Review the accuracy of the underlying accounting records and where appropriate make corrections and adjustments to reflect the Financial Accounts.
• Review the completeness and accuracy of bank postings and reconciliations to ensure that the Financial Accounts can be completed in a timely manner.
• Respond to enquiries and the production of other reports and analysis that maybe required by senior management from time to time.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be qualified accountant, although it is not essential for this position. You will need to demonstrate the technical ability to do the above. Further, you'll need the ability to work autonomously.
