Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Group Financial Controller
• Producing and preparing accurate financial information for management accounting and statutory reporting purposes
• Taking ownership of the statutory accounts, including: managing and preparing balance sheets, P&L accounts, cash flow statements and capital expenditure across the group
• Managing the month end cycle
• Reviewing and improving accounting processes and procedures
• Maintaining and updating accounting system (the finance team will be switching to a new accounting system in the near future so you will need to be able to adjust to the new system quickly)

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant
• Statutory accounts experience
• Experience in a technical accounting role with up to date IFRS accounting knowledge
• Month end experience
• Strong Excel skills (i. Pivot tables and v-lookups)
• Experience using Navision would be advantageous
• Demonstrable history of meeting set deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and able to review work quickly and accurately
• Proactive approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication
