Assistant Financial Accountant

Marks Sattin are currently working with a market-leading Financial Services company based in Wimbledon, South West London. This is to assist with the recruitment process for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. This role is paying between £25,000 - £28,000 including other fantastic benefits, including a full study package and bonus. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate.

The Role:

This Assistant Financial Accountant position is a varied role working closely with the Finance Manager, with a lot of exposure to the Financial Controller. This will also have great exposure to the wider business and great start working in a FTSE 250 business.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with the preparation IFRS 9 credit provisioning calculations and adjustments.
• Monthly analysis of company overheads
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Support the external year-end audit
• Ad-hoc tasks and projects when requested by senior heads within the team

The Profile:

The ideal candidate would have just finished their degree, ideally within a red brick university. Our client are looking for someone who has achieved a 2:1 or above, ideally within Accountancy Finance, Maths or Economics. This position is not looking for someone with experience but would look at someone with a years experience, coming out of a similar position also.
