Financial Controller

Your new company
I am currently working with an Lloyd's broker going through an exciting period of change. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join the London finance function to work closely with the CFO to help shape finance as they go through this transition.

Your new role
You will be responsible for a broad array of duties and responsibilities running the day to day operations of the finance function. These will include:

• Financial accounting (financial statement preparation, consolidations)
• Management Accounting (revenue and cost centre P&L analysis)
• Corporation tax
• Partial exemption VAT processes
• Budgeting and forecasting processes
• Client Money Management

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a broad role, insurance broking experience would be highly desirable. You will need a good technical accounting background and have prior experience of team leadership.
