Key Responsibilities will include:

  • The Senior Management Accountant will support budget holders to embed financial planning, commercial thinking and budgetary control.
  • Support budget holders with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring assumptions are challenged and the budget is affordable, deliverable with risks and opportunities recorded.
  • Continually monitor financial performance and deliver management accounts which are accurate and add value to the business.
  • Embed a high support/high challenge environment and drive through efficiencies and improvements in all our processes.
  • Preparing business plans and business cases
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Profile

    Qualified Accountant

    With housing association or private letting background

    Experience of preparing budgets, forecasts and management accounts.

    Experience of delivering efficiency savings and driving business decisions.

    You will be confident in challenging the status quo and always looking for continuous improvement.

    You will also have strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel, and experience manipulating large volumes of data for multiple scenarios.

    You will be a proven relationship builder and influencer with stakeholders, with proven management skills.

    You will also have the ability to travel between sites to meet external commitments
