Management Accountant - Compliance

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a leading South Leeds business, for a new Management Accountant - Compliance focused role, to join a new up and coming team within the wider Finance function in the business.

Your role as a Management Accountant - Compliance focused, will be to support the Financial Controller - Compliance UK with the following:

*Month end group reporting activities, this will include having an understanding of European and US reporting requirements and improving the sites current approach
*Compliance related activities, including but not limited to documentation and maintenance of key controls, performance of an annual compliance control review and communication of findings and required improvements
*Key relationships with: KPMG and EY, other UK sites, non finance departments
*Maintenance of the integrity of the budget model
*Statutory reporting activities, including but not limited to producing the statutory accounts and tax packs


The successful candidate will possess:

*Part Qualified/Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA or similar - QBE Considered
*Some previous management accounts experience
*Excellent Excel skills, Outlook & Word
*In depth finance experience - ideally in Manufacturing or FMCG
*High attention to detail
*Computer literate
*Knowledge of SOX - extremely beneficial
*Experience of working to tight reporting deadlines
