About the Role:

Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, my client, a leader in their field, is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team.

The company is a dynamic and progressive business going through a period or growth and transformation and this Finance Business Partner role is key to their ongoing development. This role would suit a qualified accountant with a strong academic background, with the ability to provide robust financial and commercial support, insight and challenge to the business to support key decision making.

Main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:

• Take the lead in building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all budget holders and their teams.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of consistent and reliable customer focused management information. 
• Business partner with Ops teams ensuring that the budget reflects their ability to deliver and to work with them on ensuring that all expenditure cost effective. 
• Produce accurate and timely financial performance information for the budget holders and senior management enabling them to effectively manage their business areas
• Ensure that a robust budgetary control framework is in place and operating effectively to facilitate delivery of annual budgets
• Responsible for the delivery of accurate forecasts of the year-end financial performance for each area of the business.
• Responsible for identifying key risks to the annual budget and ensuring that appropriate measures are put in place to manage these risks
• Produce Group management accounts for Management Team and the Board. 
• Provide clear and effective leadership to the team, enabling them to develop their careers across the business. 

The Ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner role:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / ACMA)
• Strong academic record, and have demonstrable background in a business partnering role
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience with excellent numeracy and literacy skills (essential)
• Good leadership skills, with the ability to develop and manage a small team, coupled with strong influencing skills, both verbal and written
• Has emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes and be able to work in a collaborative and open way.
