SF Group are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to assist in the preparation of management accounts, reports and financial records and controls including VAT returns and audits. You will be responsible for maintaining, compiling and controlling financial information and presenting this to budget holders.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years financial experience ideally in both the public and private sector and be qualified to at least AAT level ideally working towards a accounting qualification. The ability to develop systems along with a good working knowledge of VAT and computerised accounting will be a distinct advantage. Excellent spreadsheet skills are essential to this role. Also required are superb interpersonal skills and the ability to influence professionals.
