We are currently working with a well-known production company who are looking for an experienced Production Accountant for a 6 month contract.
Your responsibility will be based around supporting the team as a Production Accountant with a focus on spend and reconciling floats. You will be an experienced Production Accountant with ideally experience with Octopus PMI, multi-currencies and experience in a fast turnaround factual entertainment.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and recording spend on cards and variances to budget
- Managing 16 prepaid credit cards
- Proactively anticipating spend on cards and topping up as required
- Reconciling and posting float receipts returned weekly to the UK from overseas
- Ensuring receipts are booked in the correct currencies (18 currencies in total) and always using the fixed budget FX rates
- Ensuring controls and processes are followed
- Providing feedback/corrections/suggestions throughout production
- Play a key part in wrapping up the cost report
Personal Specification
Essential:
- Previous experience as a Production Accountant
- Being comfortable enforcing process, but also flexible and adaptable
- Able to work collaboratively, at a pace, and long-distance
- Has a keen eye for detail and the ability to make sense of incomplete information
Desirable:
- Experience of Octopus PMI
- Worked in fast turnaround factual-entertainment
