Interim Financial Controller | South London | Retail

Harmonic Finance are proud to be recruiting for one of Europe's leading retail success stories (£200 million t/o and growing).

The business have a very dynamic, tech-driven culture (much of their revenue comes from B2C ecommerce as well as B2B wholesale) and the work environment is modern and informal.

Although the role will begin as a 6 month minimum interim assignment, the client is also happy to consider a temp-perm employment arrangement.

Role

Supported by a talented Commercial Finance Manager, and reporting directly into the CFO, the role requires a Financial Controller who is a strong technical accountant.

You will be responsible for the stat reporting, audit (alongside CFO), supervision of the management accountants and production of the P&L and will also advise on process and systems improvements.

Essential skills

• Solid past experience in a product-based business with a strong supply chain element. FMCG, Clothing, Furnishings experience (for example) would be looked upon particularly favourably.
• At least 2 years experience as a Financial Controller within a business with a turnover in excess of £15 million.
• Team management experience
• Part or fully-qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA

Bonus skills

• Experience of working with Microsoft NAV

Rate: £375-440 per day
