BPO Wave Transition Lead (Finance Processes P2P/O2C/R2R)

A leading global business services organisation based in the London/SE area are embarking on a challenging and highly complex restructuring programme, which includes a Finance Business Process Outsourcing project. Anthony Cole Associates are partnering with the business to source and hire a number of individuals for the project team, on an initial 9 month contract basis with a view to longer term appointments for the right candidates.

The Wave Transition Leads to be hired report into the Head of Service Transition and will coordinate, manage and deliver a successful transition of service to the BPO (provider during a specific wave of the project. Waves vary in the number of roles, sites and processes included (P2P/O2C/R2R in any combination), but share objectives to:-

• Deliver a successful transfer of work from the company to the BPO provider
• Ensure that the wave runs to schedule and budget, as well as logistically flawlessly on the company's side
• Ensure that the company's standard model is deployed with a minimum of exceptions

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for transition outputs/ outcomes
• Manage the transition wave alongside the BPO provider’s Wave Transition Lead and team
• Manage the tollgate process on behalf of the company for a transition wave, including completion of readiness checklist on behalf the company
• Coordinate with business leadership to ensure availability of people, space, tools and systems throughout the transition wave
• Ensure a successful pairing and transfer of knowledge between the company and BPO SMEs
• Monitor and report to the project leadership on the progress of the wave against plan
• Coordinate the training, creation/adaptation of process documentation and sign-off of documents, with Process Transition Leads
• Monitor and manage issues and risks for the wave; escalate unmitigated risks to the project leadership

To be considered for these challenging but rewarding opportunities, you will have a strong Finance and Project Management background having gained significant working knowledge specific process/ functional areas in P2P, O2C and R2R service transition to BPO organisations. You will have experience with other similar large-scale change/transformation programmes, within a similar BPO operating model and in large, highly complex businesses and you MUST be comfortable working in a fairly unstructured environment. A natural solution provider, you will have a ’hands on delivery focused’ approach, as opposed to a consultant who will ‘recommend’ solutions.
