Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will be primarily responsible for the smooth, day to day operations of the finance department.
Financial Controller key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the work of the finance team
- Preparation of both Group consolidated and statutory accounts
- Producing accurate monthly management accounts
- Stringent review of key financial statements - P&L, balance sheet and cash flows
- Tax - VAT returns and international returns
- Primary point of contact with external advisors
- Payroll
The candidate:
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Demonstrable financial reporting experience ideally from within a complex, international environment
- Leadership experience
- Emotionally intelligent and able to build sustainable relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong Excel skills
